House Rules & Info

The staff and management at Kahana Sunset welcome you and hope that you have an enjoyable stay. As with any resort, the AOAO has an approved set of house rules for owners and guests which contains detailed information about guest/owner conduct.

HIGHLIGHTS from the House Rules
  • Quiet time is from 9pm to 8am.
  • Pool hours are from 8am to 8pm. There is no lifeguard on duty. Young children in diapers must wear swim diapers.
  • A parking pass is provided from the managing agent (reservation agent), not the Kahana Sunset office and the pass is to be displayed in the vehicle.
  • There is a designated smoking area by the B building (see resort map).
  • No drones, bicycles, skateboards, or scooters are allowed on property.

ADDITIONAL information
  • Kahana Sunset is committed to eliminating the use of single use water bottles. Please fill reusable flasks at the filtered water station by the pool.
  • Turtles feed off algae on the rocks near the Keone Nui relaxation room. Stay 10 feet away from turtles at all times, both on land and in the water. Be particularly respectful of the occasional turtle who rests on the sandy beach.
  • To help maintain our sewer pump, flush only natural waste and toilet paper down the toilet.
  • Security is generally available nightly from 10 PM to 6 PM; they provide nightly drive by inspections of the property.
